Hello! My name is Pei Mun Lim, and I lead ZenHao Academy – a program that empowers aspiring Salesforce Consultants to level up their consulting skills and collaborate effectively with their teams to deliver high-quality projects for their clients.
Pei has been a systems engineer, DBA, CRM Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, QA Manager, and Project/Programme Manager. At heart though, she is a mentor, a coach and a teacher, and loves to share her learnings and experience with others to become outstanding consultants.

I was once in your shoes
Nearly two decades ago, I found myself sitting in my car at 6 am, overwhelmed by a panic attack. My stomach churned, my heart raced, and sleep had become elusive. My project was spiralling, the client was unhappy, and my team was new – including me. I felt lost and clueless about what was going wrong.
Those moments remain vivid in my memory, years later. Amidst the darkness, my engine off, I battled nausea while grappling with the weight of uncertainty.
Back then, I was a young consultant who had cleared my Microsoft exams, proficient in technical knowledge but inexperienced in the essence of successful project delivery. The skills that truly mattered eluded me:

- Active listening
- Crafting insightful questions
- Navigating conflict
- Interpreting non-verbal cues
- Understanding human behavior and change dynamics
I have more than two decades worth of battle scars from software project failures to share with you
With over 25 years in the consulting realm, partnering with software partners like Microsoft and Remedy, I've gathered lessons the hard way – knowledge I wish I had when I embarked on my journey in 1995. I had freshly graduated from Coventry University with a BSc. in Computer Sciences and was doing my best to break into the IT world in Malaysia.
My path eventually led me into the Salesforce ecosystem in 2014, where I encountered Trailhead – an incredible free eLearning platform focused on Salesforce. Yet, while it imparts technical know-how, a crucial gap remains the soft (human) skills essential for effective communication and truly understanding clients' needs.
I created Zenhao Academy to fill the knowledge gap between the Salesforce product and Salesforce implementations for real customers
Bridging the knowledge gap between the Salesforce product and real-world implementations for clients became my mission. I yearned to distilll two decades worth of successes and failures, transforming them into digestible formats that empower young bright individuals like you to master the art of consulting and create impact in the business world.
